After watching this stallion and the Onaqui’s the last couple of years I know why wild horses are revered in American culture the way they are. America’s roots run deep with toughness, grit, determination and competitiveness. Horses, and in particular wild horses of the American West encapsulate every bit of that. This stallion, though not that big was not backing down to a fight, and he’s got the scars to prove it. I don’t know much about him, and he didn’t have any mares with him. But it definitely was not from a lack of try!
