“There are two types of people in the world: those who prefer to be sad among others, and those who prefer to be sad alone.”~
The infamous “Old Man” stallion from the Onaqui wild horse herd in Utah’s west desert. I have read from others that he is pushing thirty. He no longer has any mares to call his own and generally stays just far enough away from the main herd because the other stallions are not very nice to him. .
Sitting there watching him as a summer storm rolled through, the smell of wet sage brush, the cool breeze, and the quiet of the desert I couldn’t help but just get lost in the moment. If it wasn’t for photography I never would have experienced it.
This is a limited edition of a 100. All prints come digitally signed and numbered with a Certificate of Authenticity. I am happy to sign them by hand, but there will be extra shipping charges.
