“It's easy to look at people and make quick judgments about them, their present and their past, but you'd be amazed at the pain and tears a single smile hides. What a person shows to the world is only one tiny facet of the iceberg hidden from sight. And more often then not, it's lined with cracks and scars that go all the way to the foundation of their soul.”

I’m calling this one “The Horse Tree” for the lack of a better imagination.
I watched the horses congregate around this tree for a couple of hours. They chased each other around it, used it as a scratching post for their rear ends, as well as a place to contemplate life, like this guy.
I don't know if he's contemplating life or not; more than likely, it's just where he landed to rest. But I like to think he was.
We all need time and a quiet place to stop and think about things. I know I do. Sitting here watching him relax as the herd meandered off, giving him his space, It sure recharged my batteries.
